Welcome to Glenreagh
Glenreagh is situated approximately 40km northwest of Coffs Harbour (40km southeast of Grafton) on the "old" Tourist road which runs between Coffs Harbour and Grafton. Our "claim to fame" is Russell Crowe (the actor) lives just down the road in the neighbouring village of Nana Glen.

“Glen Reigh” station was originally settled in 1858 as a sheep and cattle run, but it was the discovery of gold in 1881 in the nearby Tallawudjah Creek which brought enough people to the area to have Glenreagh gazetted as a village in 1883. Rural settlers moved in after the miners left and dairying and timber were the major industries. A museum built on to the historic School of Arts features relics of the gold mining days, the timber industry and other historic items. The village is known to be the oldest in the Orara Valley.
Over the years, the village has continued to grow to a population of approx 1,200 people within the village and its surrounding areas.
